Buy stingless bee honey in Vietnam: unblended highland jars

16/10/2026· 7 min read ·by

If you want to buy stingless bee honey in Vietnam straight from a highland farm, MoraBee is the international name of Ong Moc, a small farm in Ta Dung, Lam Dong. The honey is unblended and unheated, sold in three jar sizes: 100 ml for 290.000₫, 200 ml for 580.000₫ and 500 ml for 1.450.000₫. You order by phone or Zalo on +84 818 83 22 83.

This page is for people who already know they want a jar and need practical answers: which size suits whom, what the honey is like, how to order and how to keep it once it arrives. If you are still curious about what stingless bee honey is, our other articles on taste, colour and raw handling cover that in more depth.

Jar sizes and prices

100 ml jar: 290.000₫. The size for a first taste, a gift for someone who has never tried stingless bee honey, or a traveller with limited luggage space.

200 ml jar: 580.000₫. A practical size for a household that wants to use the honey regularly over a few weeks, on breakfast or in drinks.

500 ml jar: 1.450.000₫. For families who already know they like the taste and keep honey in the fridge as a staple.

Same honey, different volume. The price per millilitre is the same across sizes. Choose by how fast you will use it, not by a supposed saving.

Prices are in Vietnamese dong. We list prices only in dong, the same list prices shown on AronBee.com. We do not quote conversions to other currencies.

No hidden combos. We do not run bundles or discount schemes. The list price is the price of the jar.

Delivery is arranged when you order. Ask on the phone or Zalo how your jar can reach you. We do not publish delivery fees here because they depend on where you are.

Batches vary. Because the honey is not blended, the shade and taste may differ slightly from the photos or from your last jar.

Starter colonies are separate. If you are interested in keeping bees yourself, a starter colony is a different product at 2.900.000₫. Ask us about it separately.

Ask before buying in larger amounts. Unblended highland honey comes in small batches. If you want several jars, check availability first.

Questions are welcome. If you are not sure which size to choose, tell us how you plan to use it and we will suggest one.

What you are buying

The honey comes from stingless bees, the small dark bees of the tribe Meliponini, kept at the forest edge and among coffee gardens in the Ta Dung highlands. These bees do not make the hexagonal comb of the honey bee. They store small amounts of honey in round wax and resin pots, and a colony gives far less honey than a honey bee hive.

At harvest only sealed honey pots are opened. The honey drains out, passes through a fine cloth and goes into clean, dry jars. It is not heated, not dried to make it thicker and not mixed with honey from elsewhere. In Vietnamese we call this moc: nothing added, nothing taken away.

Expect a runny honey with a tart first taste, followed by a light sweetness and sometimes herbal or woody notes from the forest and the resin pots. Batches gathered around coffee blossom may lean softer and more floral. Because each harvest is bottled on its own, two jars bought months apart will not be identical.

What we do not promise matters too. This is food, not medicine. We make no claims about health benefits, and anyone with questions about diabetes, pregnancy or a medical condition should ask a doctor first. Children under one year old must not be given honey.

Which jar is right for you?

Never tried stingless bee honey before. Start with 100 ml. The tartness surprises many people, so taste before committing to a big jar.

Buying a gift. The 100 ml jar is easy to carry and to give. For someone who already loves it, 200 ml.

A couple using honey a few times a week. 200 ml usually lasts a sensible time in the fridge without sitting for too long.

A family that already has a favourite. 500 ml, kept chilled and served with a dry spoon.

Travelling by plane. Small jars are simpler with hand luggage liquid limits. Check your airline and your destination country's food import rules.

Living in a hot apartment without much fridge space. Choose smaller jars and use them up, since raw honey keeps best cold.

Using it in drinks every day. 200 ml or 500 ml, depending on how many people share it.

Cooking with it. Stingless bee honey is best uncooked, so even for the kitchen a smaller jar used fresh is often better.

Comparing with lowland honey. Buy a small jar of each and taste them side by side.

Unsure about the taste. Ask us about the current batch. We can tell you whether it is on the bright side or the woody side.

Ordering for an office or event. Contact us first so we can tell you what is available from the current harvest.

How to order and what happens next

Call or message on Zalo. The number is +84 818 83 22 83. Tell us the jar size and how many.

Say where you are. Let us know your city or address so we can discuss how the honey reaches you.

English or Vietnamese both work. Short simple messages are fine. A photo of what you want is fine too.

Visiting the farm is possible. Ong Moc is at 68 Thac Ba Tang road, Ta Dung commune, Lam Dong. Call ahead before you come.

Check the jar on arrival. The lid should be tight and the honey runny. A few tiny bubbles are normal for raw honey.

Put it in the fridge. Cold storage keeps the taste fresh and slows natural fermentation.

Use a dry spoon. Water and crumbs speed up fermentation. Close the lid straight away.

Do not leave it in a hot car. Highland honey travelling to the lowlands should not sit in the sun.

Expect a little sediment. Fine wax or pollen particles may settle. They come from simple straining.

Tell us what you thought. If you liked a batch, say so. It helps us point you to a similar one next time.

If something is wrong, contact us. A leaking lid or an unusual smell is worth a message; we would rather know.

Why buy from a highland farm rather than a shop shelf?

Stingless bee honey is now sold in many places in Vietnam, from markets to supermarkets to online shops. Some of it is excellent. The difficulty for a buyer is that a label rarely tells you whether the honey was heated, dried, blended or bought in from unknown hives.

Buying directly from the farm shortens that chain. You can ask when the honey was harvested, what the bees were feeding on and how it was handled, and get an answer from the people who opened the pots.

The highland origin also gives a distinct taste. Forest edge and coffee garden forage, cool nights and long rainy seasons shape a honey that tends to be sharper and more herbal than lowland orchard honey. If that is the flavour you are looking for, a farm in that landscape is the obvious place to buy.

None of this makes farm honey automatically better than every shop jar. It simply makes it easier to know what you are eating, which is the whole idea behind moc honey.

No. Each batch comes from the farm's own stingless bee colonies in Ta Dung and is bottled without blending, heating or drying.

How do I order stingless bee honey from the Ta Dung farm?

Call or message on Zalo at +84 818 83 22 83 with the jar size and quantity. Delivery is arranged during that conversation.

Can I visit the farm to buy honey?

Yes, the farm is at 68 Thac Ba Tang road, Ta Dung commune, Lam Dong. Please call ahead so someone is there when you arrive.

Why is stingless bee honey sold in such small jars?

Stingless bee colonies produce only small amounts of honey, stored in tiny pots. Small jars also suit raw honey, which is best eaten fresh and kept cold.

Can I take a jar home on a plane?

Small jars are easiest with hand luggage liquid limits, and checked bags avoid them altogether. Each destination country has its own rules on bringing in food, so check with its authority before you fly.
